Strawberry Tiramisu Roll: A Delightful Twist on a Classic Dessert

🥚Ingredients

  • 200 grams ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)
  • 2 cups hot brewed coffee
  • 250 grams mascarpone cheese
  • 400 grams heavy whipping cream
  • 50 grams granulated sugar
  • 1 packet whipped cream stabilizer (optional)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 250 grams fresh strawberries, chopped

For Decoration:

  • 8–10 fresh strawberries, halved
  • 200 grams whipped cream
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

🥄Instructions

1. Prepare the Base:

  • Line a baking sheet with double-layered cling wrap.
  • Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the hot coffee and arrange them closely in two rows on the cling wrap.
  • Allow them to sit for about an hour until softened and pliable.

2. Make the Filling:

  • In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, whipped cream stabilizer (if using), and vanilla sugar or extract.
  • Whip until the mixture is creamy and holds soft peaks.
  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.

3. Assemble the Roll:

  • Evenly spread the strawberry cream mixture over the softened ladyfingers.
  • Using the cling wrap, carefully roll the ladyfingers into a log, ensuring a tight roll.
  • Secure the ends of the cling wrap and refrigerate the roll for 3–4 hours to set.

4. Decorate and Serve:

  • Remove the cling wrap from the chilled roll.
  • Decorate the top with whipped cream, halved strawberries, and a dusting of cocoa powder.
  • Slice and serve chilled.
